Specialty Coatings, Spray Painting, Microcement & Surface Restoration

Some surfaces can't just be rolled: tile, fireplace mantels, melamine cabinets, railings, radiators. YZ Painting & Finishing applies specialty bonding systems and fine-finish spray equipment to restore surfaces most painters refuse: a factory-smooth result at a fraction of replacement cost.

In short

Specialty finishes, meaning microcement, Venetian plaster and decorative textures, cover feature walls, bathrooms and floors in one continuous surface with no grout lines and no visible joins. Depending on the system, they typically run $20–$65+ per square foot (approximate). These are approximate figures: specialty finishes are quoted per project, pricing is negotiable, and the final cost will vary with design, prep and area.

What we spray and coat

Fireplace mantels: heat-tolerant enamels, wood or stone-look finishes. Tile painting: bathroom and kitchen tile refinished with bonding epoxy systems instead of a $15,000 re-tile. Microcement: seamless waterproof mineral finishes for walls, showers and feature surfaces. Cabinets and built-ins: sprayed urethane, showroom-smooth. Also doors, railings and stair parts; doors, railings and stair parts; specialty protective coatings for high-wear commercial surfaces.

Spray painting done properly

HVLP and airless fine-finish rigs, full-room masking and negative-air containment. Spraying is a system, not a shortcut. Done right, it outlasts brushwork on every hard surface.

Honest scoping

Not every surface should be coated. If your tile is cracked or your substrate is failing, we'll tell you replacement beats refinishing, before you spend money.
